Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Analogly (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Analogly is a companion iOS application for analog/film photographers. It provides tools including a light meter, reciprocity calculator, development timer, roll log, negative converter, lab finder, chemistry tracker, camera bag inventory, development times database, and film stock browser.

Use of the App

The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the App only for its intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App.
Distribute, license, or sell the App to third parties.
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

Light Meter Disclaimer

The light meter feature uses your device's camera to estimate exposure values. Results may vary by device, lighting conditions, and camera calibration. The App is intended as a supplementary tool and should not be relied upon as the sole source of exposure metering in critical situations. We are not responsible for exposure errors or damaged film.

Community Content

The "Submit a Lab" feature allows users to contribute film lab information to a community directory. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App. You represent that any content you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not violate any third-party rights.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, icons, and content, is owned by Analogly and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All film stock names, chemical brand names, and camera brand names referenced in the App are trademarks of their respective owners.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANALOGLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, DAMAGED FILM, OR INCORRECT EXPOSURE READINGS.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
